Large Winter Chill Stained Glass Panel – Oversized Seasons Drop Artwork
Large Winter Chill is an expanded statement version of my Winter Chill Seasons Drop design, transforming the original 4" × 6" concept into a substantial drop-shaped stained glass panel.
Measuring approximately 10" × 15", this one-of-a-kind piece captures the quiet beauty of winter through layers of color, texture, and light. Deep blues, soft purples, pale winter tones, and luminous iridescent glass create the feeling of frozen landscapes, frost-covered mornings, icy ponds, and the sparkling stillness of a cold winter sky.
Large Winter Chill is a true labor of love, created from 30 individually hand-cut and finished pieces of glass in 12 different colors. More than 60 hours of skilled craftsmanship went into selecting, cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing this panel using traditional stained glass techniques.
The additional scale allows the details of the glass to shine. Each piece of glass interacts differently with natural light, revealing shifting colors, textures, and subtle variations throughout the day. No two pieces of glass are exactly alike, making this a unique work of stained glass art designed to be enjoyed for generations.
