Happy Caterpillar Stained Glass Plant Stake
Happy Caterpillar Stained Glass Plant Stake
This happy little caterpillar, posed like an inchworm with tiny wire antennae, is handcrafted from transparent blue and yellow stained glass. The bright primary colors make it a playful stained glass accent for your favorite plants. Best of all, this caterpillar won't nibble on any leaves!
Caterpillars remind us that remarkable changes often begin in unexpected places. Before becoming butterflies, they spend their days inching along one leaf at a time. This handcrafted stained glass caterpillar celebrates that often-overlooked part of the journey with bright color and personality.
Made by hand in my central Indiana studio using traditional stained glass techniques, each caterpillar plant stake is carefully assembled, soldered, and finished before making its way to you. Because the glass is handmade, every piece has its own variations in color, texture, and light reflection.
The caterpillar measures approximately 3" wide × 2" tall, with a sturdy stake designed to place securely into the soil among your plants. It makes a thoughtful gift for gardeners, insect lovers, teachers, nature enthusiasts, or anyone who appreciates handmade glass art with a playful side.
Because each ornament is handcrafted, slight variations in glass texture, finish, and details may occur. These natural differences are part of what makes handmade stained glass special. Learn about variations in handmade stained glass.
